Message from the Speaker

What does Japan currently need? With huge losses and restructure of world-leading large Japanese corporations, the economy of Japan has been in a 20-year long decline. I'm sure many of you know that outstanding young individuals have gathering at Silicon Valley, USA to create startups and bring about innovation. From companies like Facebook and Youtube whose services we use everyday, to Uber and Airbnb, which have been gathering attention from all over the world, there are too many startups from the San Francisco/Silicon Valley to count. But just what is at work behind the scenes to create this kind of innovation? What kind of key players exist in the ecosystem of Silicon Valley, and can we learn what is necessary for the Japan of today? In this lecture, as someone who studied at Harvard Business School, Stanford, and through Blackbox, the first Japanese acceleration program, I'll teach you how to bring about innovation aimed at the world. Let's change the world together.
