3rd Symposium for Concert and Cocreation of Diverse Knowledge in Global Action - Movement of Human Resource Development and Use in Various Fields

2016-1-28 (Thu) 13:00 - 17:00

This is a symposium specially funded by MEXT which has been developed at Osaka University since 2012 as the "Project to Create Research and Educational Hubs for Innovative Manufacturing in Asia."
In this 3rd Symposium, we'll hear from each of our lecturers, who are active in human resource development overseas as well as other international endeavors, and through a panel discussion to be held later on, we'll discuss more clearly problems and solutions in this field. In addition, there will be a report by students in the Coupling Internship (Interdisciplinary Overseas Internship) at OU. This location of this symposium is directly connected to Tokyo Station, so we hope that you can attend. (Attendance is free)

One of the major parts of this program is the cultivation of global human resources with a good balance of expertise and the ability to understand different cultures. In the first two symposiums in this series, we heard about topics such as the ideal global human resource that companies desire, the gap in efforts at institutes of learning, challenges in the coverage of global human resources cultivation, and the difficulty of acquisition and use of global human resources by companies.

In this 3rd Symposium, we'll hear from each of our lecturers, who are active in human resource development overseas as well as other international endeavors, and through a panel discussion to be held later on, we'll discuss more clearly problems and solutions in this field.
