Public relations seminar for faculty and staff at Osaka University -- Report on research results and Public Information Officers

2014-10-2 (Thu) 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

A public relations seminar for faculty and staff at Osaka University will be held on Thursday, October 2. We often see reports such as "University X published research results regarding such-and-such" on television and in newspapers. Making research activities known to society matches Osaka University's policies for making it into a world-class research university. This seminar is sure to be interesting and helpful. Individuals interested in public relations -- students, office workers, technical staff, regardless of whether you are full-time, part-time, temporary workers, you are cordially invited to this seminar.

Program

Part 2: Based on the book Working with Public Information Officers (authored by Dennis Meredith and translated by IIJIMA Yutaka and others), Dr. SAKANOUE will talk about Public Information Officers (PIOs), specialists in public relations at research centers and make a proposal regarding Osaka University that aims to become one of the world's top ten research universities.
