The workshop series Appropriate Technology "Design for Life" takes a look at appropriate technology for connecting social contributions, manufacturing, and business through workshops and other activities.

There are many things that one can experience only in fieldwork -- staying in a private home, farming, and participation in harvest and thanksgiving. In this workshop, participants will find community problems and explore manufacturing that can change the community in order to solve the problems.
Intended for: Students, faculty and staff at Osaka University, students from other universities, general public, and those interested in bringing about change in a community through making things
Quota: 15
Fees for transportation, accommodations, and meals will be borne by participants.
