GLOCOL Seminar 115 -- How you can, as students, contribute to International Cooperation -- Your "weakness" as non-specialists can work to your advantage

For this seminar, GLOCOL has invited KUSAKA Wataru, a young researcher vigorously promoting the dissemination of information about and on-site investigation into the catastrophic destruction caused in the central Philippines by Typhoon Haiyan (known as Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines) in November 2013. Mr. Kusaka will speak about the current status and problems facing aid and relief assistance.
In addition, a 30-minute documentary "November 8, 2013 -- Leyte Island, Typhoon Yolanda comes ashore" by director IMAIZUMI Kohji will be shown.
