2014 International Forum of Japan Language and Culture is being held

Under joint sponsorship of the departments of Japanese Language and Japanese Culture of the Graduate School of Language and Culture and as part of a joint use education related project and picking up from the previous forum, the Center for Japanese Language and Culture is holding this 2014 International Forum of Japan Language and Culture. In particular, this year's forum will deal with changes in the university education environment in trendsetting Europe. The keynote lecture will be presented by the chairperson of the Association of Japanese Language Teachers in Europe, Dr. Noriko IWASAKI of The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Additionally, we have invited leading educators in Japanese language at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the University of Toulouse-Mirail, the Universität Wien, and The University of Manchester who will speak on the current situation of Japanese language education in Europe.

Persons interested in attending are requested to send an email to the address noted below by Tuesday, March 4, stating your (1) name, (2) affiliation, and (3) email address. The title for your email should be "Forum attendance."
