Bösendorfer Piano Recital and Talk III -- "The Two Pianos at Osaka University"

Osaka University's Kaitokudo for the 21st Century will hold the event Bösendorfer Piano Recital and Talk III -- "The Two Pianos at Osaka University" on Saturday, March 1. This third piano recital and talk has invited the internationally famous pianist Iku MIWA. Her piano recital will feature music played on the 1920 Bösendorfer piano (kept at Osaka University Hall on the Toyonaka campus) and the Steinway & Sons piano (normally kept at Convention Center on the Suita campus).

Following the performance, Professor Nobuhiro ITO will discuss the music in terms of the history of music and culture. 

Date & Time: Saturday, March 1, 2014, 1:30 p.m. Doors open at 2:00 p.m.
Venue: Auditorium, Osaka University Hall, 1-13 Machikaneyama-cho, Toyonaka
There is no fee charged for attending this event; however, advance registration is necessary.
Seating space in the venue: 300 (The quota has been filled for this event.)
All seats are unreserved. Please note that this event is not intended for children of preschool age and younger.
