Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zürich) Explanatory Session

2014-2-13 (Thu) 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

2014 is the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Switzerland diplomatic relations and a variety of events will be held through the year. As part of them, the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zürich) Big Band will visit Osaka University in order to promote international exchange.

In the explanatory session, programs for study at ETH Zurich will be introduced. Following the explanatory session, as an international exchange event, the ETH Zurich music goodwill ambassador, ETH Big Band, will present a concert.

Following their concert, members of the audience will be able to attend a social hour and talk with members of the band while enjoying Swiss cheese. Please feel free to join us.

12:30 -- Doors open
13:00 -- Opening greeting

  • Introduction of study programs at ETH Zurich in English (20 minutes)
  • Performance by Osaka University Cheerleaders (10 minutes)
  • Concert by ETH Big Band (1 hour)


14:30 -- Closing remarks by Vice President IKEDA
14:45 ~ 16:00 -- Social Hour (Seminar Room #2, 2nd floor, Student Commons, Center for Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences)
