"I go upstairs and when I get there I have forgotten what I went there for." This happens to everyone. This occurs because, working memory, a capacity system that is capable of briefly storing and manipulating information involved in the performance of tasks, does not work well. This working memory is a kind of short-term notepad and plays the role of getting one started on a task before one performing it. Why not join us in thinking how we can assist this "notepad memory"?
