Osaka University & Osaka College of Music -- 1st joint concert: "Machikaneyama Christmas Concert 2011"

Two educational institutions in Toyonaka City, Osaka University, whose motto is "Live Locally, Grow Globally," and Osaka College of Music, "A leader in innovative music culture for the times," have come up with a plan to hold a joint Christmas concert on Sunday, December 18. By holding this "Machikaneyama Christmas Concert 2011", they will contribute to the promotion of culture in the Toyonaka area.

This first joint concert will be held on in Osaka University Hall on Osaka University's Toyonaka campus. The concert will feature unique "flavors" from both insitutions, with the "Clarinet Orchestra" from Osaka College of Music and a performance by an a cappella group from Osaka University.

The concert is free -- there is no charge for attending; however, you must make application to attend. Admission will be granted to the first 300 persons making application to attend.

Notes:

  • Within one week of your application, you will receive an application number.

  • Seating at the venue is limited to 300. Please note that when applications for all 300 seats have been made, applications will be terminated. Please apply early.

  • Furthermore, please note that your application number is not a seat number. Likewise, the number has no relation to the order in which you will be able to enter the venue. Persons will be admitted to the venue in the order in which they arrive at the door. 

  • Finally, children must be of school age or older to be admitted to the venue.
