Sustainability Design Extension, #10

As an activity to promote sustainability, Osaka University will hold a ten-part series of extension seminars regarding sustainability on Wednesdays beginning from November 11, 2010. Individuals who take seven or more classes will receive a certificate of completion from Osaka University President WASHIDA Kiyokazu.

Individuals interested in participating in this seminar are cordially invited to make application to do so.


Sustainability in Manufacturing

As in other areas, in the field of manufacturing, dealing with environmental problems is essential. The lecturers will speak about sustainable manufacturing in the design and manufacturing of products, the life cycle of which must be aimed at solutions to environmental problems.
