2010 Science Cafés at Machikaneyama
2010-6-21 (Mon) - 2010-7-7 (Wed) Science, TechnologyHow about enjoying a "Science Café" at the Museum of Osaka University on a Saturday afternoon? The Science Café events are a platform for students to directly discuss science topics with researchers.
The Science Café started 3 years ago in the hope that it would narrow the gap between specialists and the public. The previous cafés have ended on a high note with great attendance. It is hoped many will attend these events.

Applications are being accepted now. Please note that the deadline for applications varies with each individual café!

Time: 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. (The museum closes at 5:00 p.m.)
Venue: Seminar Room, 3rd floor, Machikaneyama Shugakukan, Museum of Osaka University
Quota: 30
Admission fee: There is no charge for admission, but a refreshment fee of 200 yen will be collected.
How to apply:
Applications can be made online or by sending a postcard with an attached reply postcard. Send the following information: (1) name of the seminar of your choice, (2) your name, (3) age, (4) address, and (5) telephone number. If you will be bringing other persons, please send their names and ages, too.

If applicants exceed the quota, attendees will be chosen by lottery. Successful applicants will be informed by email or post card.
