Osaka University Co-Creation Festival 2018: Osaka University Symposium - "Future society created through collaboration in industry, government, academia, and citizens"

  The Osaka University Co-creation Bureau opened in January 2018 will be holding the “Osaka University Co-Creation Festival” in Suita, Osaka over the course of two days in November in order to expand its social network with corporations, local municipalities, regional society, and the general public.

  First, in order for participants to learn more about the objectives, accomplishments, and future prospects of the Co-creation Bureau, we will be holding the Osaka University Symposium entitled “Future society created through collaboration in industry, government, academia, and citizens.” We'll introduce diverse activity in topics such as “Expo Future Conference,” “Creative Island Lab Nakanoshima,” “Demonstration Experiments of Pedestrian Traffic Flow and Student Ventures,” and “Multilingual Emergency Alert System.” In addition, KAWABUCHI Saburo, the Supreme Advisor of the Japan Football Association, will deliver a keynote lecture entitled “Our Dreams Make Us Stronger.”

Part 1 – 13:00 ~ 15:00
• Greeting from President NISHIO Shojiro, greeting from guests, explanation of the purpose of the Co-Creation Bureau

• Keynote lecture – KAWABUCHI Saburo – “Our Dreams Make Us Stronger”

Part 2 - 15:15 ~ 16:30
• Introduction to activity at Osaka University
• Messages of encouragement from Kansai SDGs Platform and others, closing

Attendance Fee, etc.

Attendance to this event is free, and prior registration is required. (Applications will no longer be accepted once the number of applications reaches 600.)
