University Exchange Study Abroad Orientation

To OU students considering applying to study abroad,

Osaka University will be holding a University Exchange Study Abroad Orientation for students wishing to begin studying abroad at universities in an exchange agreement with Osaka University sometime between April and December 2018. At this orientation, there will be detailed explanations about the University Exchange Study Abroad System. This is also a great chance to ask questions to faculty in charge of study abroad as well as fellow students with study abroad experience, so those applying to study abroad this year as well as those considering studying abroad in future are encouraged to attend. (Note: this orientation will be held in Japanese.)

Friday, June 2, 2017 - 12:10 ~ 12:50 (Lecture Hall, Osaka University Hall, Toyonaka Campus)

Monday, June 5, 2017 - 12:10 ~ 12:50 (Large Lecture Hall, 4F, Administration Building, Minoh Campus)

Tuesday, June 6, 2017 - 18:00 ~ 19:00 (Lecture Hall, Osaka University Hall, Toyonaka Campus)

Wednesday, June 7, 2017 - 18:00 ~ 19:00 (Rooms 5 & 6, 2F, IC Hall, Suita Campus)

Intended for

Individuals considering studying abroad in an exchange program; faculty in charge of student exchange programs and overseas research


• Explanations on topics such as the student exchange system, the application process, and scholarships, as well as a few important reminders
• Explanation about the Study Abroad Support System provided by faculty in charge of study abroad programs as well as students with experience studying overseas
• Personal accounts from those students with experience studying abroad 
• Q&A Session
