IELTS (International English Language Testing System) to be held at Osaka University

2016-4-7 (Thu) -

One of the most widely respected English-language tests in the world, IELTS (International English Language Testing System), will be held at Osaka University on Saturday, May 28. If you are thinking about studying abroad, or want to certify your English proficiency level, this is a test to take!

Prior to the test, an explanatory session and free crash course for IELTS will be held on Saturday, May 14. An instructor familiar with IELTS will explain the trend in questions and strategies for succeeding in getting a higher score, citing examples from the test.

IELTS on-campus exam

Date & Time: Saturday, May 28, 2016, 8:00 ~ 18:20 (includes registration times)

Venue: Toyonaka Campus, Osaka University

Intended for: Students enrolled in Osaka University on the day of the May 28 test.

Examination fee: 25,380 yen (includes tax)

Application deadline:

  • Sunday, April 17, 2016, 24:00 for payment at a convenience store or using post office ATM
  • Friday, April 22, 2016, 17:00 for credit card payment

Explanatory session & crash courses for IELTS

There is no admission fee for attending these sessions and classes.

Date & Time: Saturday, May 14, 2016, 10:00 ~ 17:00

Venue: Rooms B207 & B208, General Education Building, Toyonaka Campus, Osaka University

Intended for: Osaka University students.

Two classes (basic and advanced levels) will be held.

Individuals not enrolled for the IELTS on Saturday, May 28, are also welcome to attend these classes.

Application deadline: Friday, May 6, 2016, 16:30
