Recruitment of participants in Hanshin Net Japan-Korea Student Conference

2014-12-8 (Mon) - 2015-1-15 (Thu)

In 2011, three universities in the Hanshin area (Osaka University, Kansai University, Kwansei Gakuin University) established the Osaka-Kobe University Network for Internationalization (fondly referred to as "Hanshin Net"). The third Hanshin Net Japan-Korea Student Conference will be held according to the schedule noted below. We look forward to seeing you there! How about spending time living together with Korean students to discuss Japan-Korea issues and work together for the future?
Purposes
The Hanshin Net will provide the students selected from Korean universities and the three member universities with a place for workshops (at Minami-Senri International Plaza). While participating in these joint workshops, the Japanese and Korean students will reside in the same building so as to be able to discuss current Japan-Korea issues for the future and make the workshops a foothold for establishing an international network for next generation leaders in both nations.
Participants will also visit companies and institutes together and listen to lectures by Japanese university faculty members. They will also discuss in joint Japanese and Korean groups and make presentations on the themes determined by each group.
