Osaka University Safety and Hygiene Lecture

Designating October as the Safety and Hygiene Month, Osaka University has held seminars in order to heighten OU members' attention paid to safety. At the end of September, in order to protect female students and others from crime and coordinate crime-prevention measures, Osaka Prefectural Police in cooperation with universities in Osaka Prefecture established the "Osaka Campus Network for Crime-Prevention."

Osaka University joined this network as a managing university. Persons in criminal investigation department at Osaka Prefectural Police will speak about the current situation of female sex crimes, victim support systems as well as anti-crime measures. Female students, faculty and staff members are strongly encouraged to attend this seminar.
