Career Development Education Symposium: the Option of Going to Graduate School -- for being Active in Society

2013-11-2 (Sat) 1:00 p.m. -

In our highly developed and complex society, what does going to graduate school mean as an option in career development? This symposium will consider problems facing students, faculty, and the university in contributing to society, the world, and one's growth through career development.
Osaka University set up the Career Development Education Review Working Group in March 2011 in order to provide education that will develop the fullest potential of students. The working group has examined career education being conducted at universities in Japan and abroad, career support education at our university, promotion of practical education through internships in Japan and abroad, and reviewed the university-wide support for career path development.
As one result of this group's efforts, Osaka University is holding this "Career Development Education Symposium: the Option of Going to Graduate School -- for being Active in Society" for undergraduate and graduate students.
