6th Special Exhibition at The Museum of Osaka University: Exhibition celebrating the 175th anniversary of Tekijuku -- OGATA Koan, Tekijuku, and Scholarship in Modern Osaka

150 years have passed since OGATA Koan (1810-1863), a scholar of Western learning and doctor in Osaka at the end of the Edo Period, passed away. In order to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the founding of Tekijuku by Koan, an exhibition regarding Koan's history of learning as well as the scholarship, art, and Western learning of modern Osaka, a special exhibition is being planned.

Hours: 10:30 ~17:00
Closed on Sundays and national holidays; however, it will be open on Sunday and national holiday, November 3 and Monday and national holiday, November 4.

There is no fee for attending this lecture.
The doors open 30 minutes before each lecture starts.
