Osaka University Symposium "Toward the Future of Medical Knowledge"

Osaka University Symposium "Toward the Future of Medical Knowledge" will be held on Saturday, August 3. Through the promotion of Western scholarship, Tekijuku produced outstanding personnel in a variety of fields. It served as an intellectual driving force behind the construction of the new Japan in the Meiji Era. 175 years have passed since then. What path should Japan take in order to shine forth even into the 22nd century? This is a symposium to consider the future of Japanese medicine and life.

This symposium consists of two parts. In the Part 1, NISHIDA Koji, Professor, Graduate School of Medicine, KAWASAKI Kazuo, Professor emeritus, and KUSAKABE Yo, author, will deliver speeches. In Part 2,  hosted by WAKIHAMA Noriko, Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation announcer, a round-table talk by the above three lecturers will be held.

Registration starts at 1:00 p.m.

Venue: Congrès Convention Center, 2nd basement, Knowledge Capital, Grand Front OSAKA in the Umekita district of Osaka City
