New Approaches -- "Osaka University Future Talks"

Osaka University is promoting Academic Initiatives. As part of these initiatives, Osaka University will hold "Osaka University Future Talks" in which individuals active in different fields will speak about the latest in their areas of specialization.

There is no charge for taking part in these training sessions. However, registration is required.

How to apply:

Fill out an application form and submit the completed form to General Affairs Division, Office for Academic Initiatives.

For the 4th Future Talks on July 16, an additional room will be made available for viewing the lecture on closed circuit TV. No preregistration is required. Admission tickets will be distributed at the entrance of the Assembly Hall. [update: June 24, 2013]

A live lecture delivered by closed-circuit TV
Venue: Assembly Hall, Osaka University Hall, Toyonaka campus
Admission tickets: 190 (admission is on a first-come, first-served basis)
Admission tickets, one per person, will be handed out at the entrance of Assembly Hall from 3:00 p.m. until all seats are filled. Show your ticket to the staff when entering the Assembly Hall. Admission tickets will not be reissued. Be careful not to lose yours.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m.
The lecture will start at 5:00 p.m.
A question and answer session (to be held at Auditorium) follows the lecture. Participation will not be possible from the Assembly Hall.

We regret to announce that advance registration has terminated. The decision to deliver the lecture by closed-circuit TV has been made, but many people are on the waiting list.
