Explanatory Session for Study Programs of Osaka University to be held in Bangkok.

2010-9-4 (Sat) 10:00 a.m. -

In cooperation with related departments and faculty staff, the Bangkok Center for Education and Research, one of the Osaka University's overseas centers, will hold an explanatory session for study abroad programs, “Let’s Study at Osaka University” in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday, September 4.

This is the first explanatory session for study abroad programs of Osaka University. In addition to the introduction of university by the President and some graduates, mock lessons will be conducted in the session. Discussions with Thai students studying at Osaka University will also be conducted through Skype. Information about programs is available at respective booths at the site. The explanation session for parents is planned as well.

Furthermore, in cooperation with Japanese embassy in Thailand and the Japan Student Services Organization, Bangkok, explanation about financial aid will be provided.

The session will be organized along with university alumni on the day.

Following China and Korea, Thailand is the third country in the number of students studying at Osaka University.

It is hoped that this explanatory session will be the first step for many Thai students wishing to study at Osaka University. Please inform Thai senior high school and university students that you know about this explanatory session.

Venue: Junior Ball Room, 3rd floor, Grand Millennium Sukhumvit
