STS Forum "Dialogue between Future Leaders and Nobel Laureates" (Application period has ended)

The Science and Technology in Society Forum Office is now recruiting for the STS Forum "Dialogue between Future Leaders and Nobel Laureates."
Those interested should apply according to the details listed below.
If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, participants will be chosen by the Executive Vice President of Global Engagement.

Dates: Saturday, October 1 ~ Tuesday, October 4, 2016

Venue: Kyoto International Conference Center (Kyoto city)

Intended for: Faculty and staff members from Osaka University who fall under the "Young Researcher Recommendation Guidelines" listed in the Recommendation Guidelines.

Recruitment numbers: 5 (If the number of applications exceeds this number, participants will be chosen via a screening process.)

Participation and transportation fees: Fees for participation (50,000 yen) and transportation must all be paid by the attendee.

Unveiling ceremony of Audiovisual Archives of Japan-UN Relations [updated: September 7, 2015]

The unveiling ceremony of audiovisual archives of Japan and the United Nations and social gathering will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015. Prior to the 60th anniversary of Japan's joining the UN, in cooperation with the Cabinet Public Relations Office, United Nations Information Centre; Multimedia Resource Unit, Department of Public Information, digitized UN video archives have been open to the public since August 14, 2015 at this Youtube page.

In cooperation with the United Nations Information Centre, the Cabinet Public Relations Office will hold an unveiling ceremony and social gathering to commemorate the completion of valuable videos which take a look back on the progress of Japan-UN relations. Interested individuals are invited to attend.

Japan-Korea Joint Science and Engineering Student Exchange Program Symposium held [May 12, 2014 update]

Osaka University accepts Korean students in the Japan-Korea Joint Science and Engineering Student Exchange Program. As part of the program, a symposium was held at Kyung Hee University in Seoul on April 19. The event was reported in the Yonhap News.

APRU is hoping to recruit members for the Global Health Program [March 17, 2014 update]

Osaka University is a member of Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). APRU is hoping to recruit new members for its Global Health Program. Individuals interested in participating in this program are requested to make application on the website noted below and to also participate in the online survey.
