Student Support Station

In order to strengthen existing relationships between counseling offices and establish a network among in-campus related organizations, the Department of Student Affairs has created a Student Support Station as a part of the Education and Information Office. In order to provide a common meeting area, a Student Support Community Space has been opened on the second floor of the Student Union on the Toyonaka Campus. Please feel free to make use of these facilities and services.

Counseling Services

The Student Support Station consists of 3 units: Student Consultation Services, Career Counseling, and Support for Students with Disabilities. Appointments are not needed. Please don't hesitate to ask for advice.
Student Consultation Services

In addition to emotional, social, and career pursuit problems, faculty members and graduate students provide advice even on problems such as consumer troubles, club activities, or economic difficulties.

Career Counseling

Employment counselors and career development advisers provide help.

Support for Students with Disabilities

We provide support for students with physical, developmental, or psychological challenges.

In addition to face-to-face, the Support Station provides counseling via phone, fax, and email.

Greetings from Support Station head

In order to strengthen existing relationships between counseling offices and establish a network among in-campus related organizations, Osaka University has created a Student Support Station. This organization reports to the Education and Information Board in order to deal with important issues swiftly. As a basis for activities of the Student Support Station, a Student Support Community Space has been opened.

As noted above, the Student Support Station consists of 3 units: Student Consultation Services, Career Counseling, and Support for Students with Disabilities. Student Consultation Services provides advice concerning troubles students may be having, from interpersonal relationship to school performance. In Career Counseling, professional career advisers are available for assistance and guidance. Support for Students with Disabilities provides support those with challenges.

The Support Station is here for you -- come see us anytime. Don't worry alone.
