Harassment Counseling Offices
In April 2002, Osaka University established sexual harassment counseling offices on the Suita and Toyonaka campuses where professional counselors together with campus-wide counselors now provide counseling by phone or in face-to-face consultations. In April 2009, a new office was opened on the Minoh Campus, and subsequently, a year later in April 2010, the Toyonaka counseling office expanded its duties to include counseling services that did not necessarily have to pertain to “sexual harassment.”
Counselors are bound to strict confidentiality. Please feel free to consult them.

Toyonaka Harassment Counseling Office
Note:
The counseling offices on the other campuses are primarily for handling
cases of sexual harassment; the counseling office on the Toyonaka
campus
serves as a counseling center for all types of harassment -- that is, sexual, academic, and power harassment.
