University Exchange Agreements
Osaka University has completed academic exchange agreements with a large number of universities in other countries and regions. These academic exchange agreements have been concluded on the university-to-university level and also on the school-to-school level. Joint research as well as researcher and student exchanges take place between Osaka University and these universities and schools. At some of these overseas universities and schools, it is possible for undergraduate and graduate students of Osaka University to take classes or engage in research for up to one year without paying tuition to that university or school while retaining their enrollment status at Osaka University.
As of November 1, 2011,
university-to-university agreements numbered 92 and
school-to-school agreements numbered 366.
Exchange agreements which permit Osaka University students to attend an
overseas institution without paying additional tuition --and students
enrolled in those institutions to attend Osaka University without
paying additional tuition-- are indicated by a
-mark.
