Announcing a new project

Shiseido Female Researchers Science Grant

Objectives

This project aims to contribute to nurturing female researchers to become leaders by granting financial assistance to research activities by outstanding female researchers.

Intended for: Female researchers conducting research in science, technology, and life science fields

Amount of support: 1 million yen per project will be provided for a year. (up to 10 projects, 10 million yen in total)

Period of support: 1 year from June 2012 to May 2013

Application deadline: Monday, November 7, 2011

Eligibility: Regardless age and nationality, female researchers involving in natural science research at university or public research institute in Japan

No recommendation is needed. Candidates are publicly sought, excluding researchers in command positions, graduate students, undergraduate students, and researchers belonging to companies.
