The 80th Anniversary Commemoration projects are the first projects celebrating a milestone of the university since the integration of Osaka University and Osaka University of Foreign Studies in 2007. Thus, a special committee, the 80th Anniversary Commemoration Committee, has been formed in order to plan and implement the main theme and basic policies for projects.

80th Anniversary Commemoration Committee

Organization members: President, Trustees, Vice Presidents, Deans of Schools

Chairperson: HIRANO Toshio

Vice Chairperson: EBISU Shigeyuki, Trustee/Vice President

Duties: Plan theme and projects for the 80th Anniversary Commemoration and deliberate on the basic policies for implementing such. Furthermore, this committee will establish various Steering Committees for the projects. A trustee and vice president will assume the position of chairperson for each of the steering committees.
